“Jacqui is a wonderful teacher. She makes everyone feel welcome and at ease. Every session usually starts with a ‘little gem’ of knowledge from her wide reading which reminds you that yoga is much more than a physical exercise course. She often prints out little quotes for us to take home. I have been attending yoga classes with a variety of teachers for the last 50 years and I was very lucky to discover Jacqui’s Classes about 10 years ago. Every asana is able to be done at some level by people of all ages and ability and Jacqui encourages everyone by frequent reassurance and praise. I particularly like the way she explains the benefits of each asana. She uses the Sanskrit names as well as the English versions for each posture. I love the way Jacqui talks with such enthusiasm and knowledge. The breathing exercises are so useful in everyday life and I use some of these daily. It’s so important in this hectic world to be able to slow down your breathing.”
