About Me

Welcome to Calma Yoga. I am Jacqui Jones and I’ve been teaching Yoga since 2002. There is nothing I would rather do than use the range of techniques to calm your mind, body and nervous system that I have learnt, practiced and taught in the last 45 years. Yoga dates back thousands of years, it is immensely powerful at calming your body and mind in one single session. It is truly transformational. This is what I love about Yoga, that in a very short space of time, a magical tool is revealed.

Jacqui Jones

Jacqui Jones is a 500hr British Wheel of Yoga Qualified Teacher and Trainer from Yorkshire U.K., with over 40 years of experience in Yoga. Her mission is to guide you on your journey to well-being and to spread calm through postures, breathwork, and ancient practices backed up by modern science.

She is passionate about creating an inclusive space where age and gender fade away and everyone finds solace in the transformative power of yoga – mentally, physically, and emotionally.

Jacqui is highly qualified: she is a Yoga for Healthy Lower Backs qualified Teacher, a Yoga In Healthcare Alliance Yoga4Health, Yoga on Prescription & Yoga4NHS qualified Teacher, a British Wheel of Yoga Foundation Course Tutor, and a Yoga Alliance Professionals Senior Teacher.
